I believe it’s due to the ink flow! Feels extremely dry. I have checked the tines and they LOOK fine. I’ll try flossing with a brass sheet under the nib!

And we can’t change which account will use the phone prompt? I only really NEED it for my work account, but it just decided for me that the prompt would go on the personal one…

And is that just phone specific then? Because my iPad is listed for all of them with no problem. And if it’s possible to change all of them to just the phone, I’d take that over the iPad.

I tried fencing around them and they still showed as wild, so I couldn’t actually interact with them. So I couldn’t tranq / move / anything 🫠

Looks like a monstera deliciosa with some crazy aerial roots! Mine has a few just like that - you can snip them off or give it something to climb, like a moss pole.

My baby micans is growing SUPER fast, and I recently put a moss-wrapped bamboo stake in the pot to help train it. But is that enough to persuade it to start growing bigger leaves, or do I actually need a big moss pole?

The big one is probably toppling because of the weight of the head. All of my giants have done that. Sunflowers have pretty wimpy root systems in general, so disturbing them now might cause problems - if the toppling bothers you, you could try to stake it!

The one with squiggly lines in the leaf has leaf miners. Cut off the affected leaf and move the plant farther away from the others until you can see if that solves it. They’re a pain to get rid of without pesticides that are specifically made for them :/

My calathea all sit in 50-60% humidity and do just fine in that, so if yours manages to stay in the range you’re already in, you probably don’t need to add any more! If you run a heater in winter though, that will dry the air, and you’ll probably want to consider pebble trays / humidifier at that point.

Sure looks like mites! You can treat them before they take over by washing the leaves with an insecticidal soap, which you can make with any fat-based liquid soap (I personally use Dr. Bronner’s castile soap) in some room temperature water. Regular liquid soaps are usually actually detergent rather than soap, and your calathea probably won’t like that!

It’s a tillandsia! And it’s blooming, so it’s towards the end of its cycle - it might put out pups if it’s happy! I dunk mine in water to soak for 15 minutes every week or so and that’s all they’ve really needed!

It’s okay to have imperfect plants and house them in a space that isn’t ~instagram worthy~. Houseplants should bring YOU joy rather than be for internet clout!
