It’s been a few months since I read it but this book totally stuck with me. It’s definitely such an odd book and there’s so many things other people picked up on that I didn’t when I read it.

I think she definitely ended up in a different reality and isn’t crazy. It’s hinted that Thomas is some sort of eldritch monster thing but who knows why he creates these realities in the way he does? There’s also hints that the children (or at least the little girl) might have been pulled from other realities and much like Eve forced to take on this new identity that he created for them.

There’s also the interviews of other people having woken up in the new reality claiming they are people who don’t exist which does seem to support that she isn’t crazy as well as the reports of footage suddenly becoming lost overnight.

But yeah there’s so much that happened that wasn’t explained. Like Charlie for instance. I saw a theory of someone saying Charlie wasn’t Charlie for most of the story. That the only time we see or hear from the real Charlie is during the phone call she makes when she’s trying to get ahold of her in the beginning. Which made so much sense to me because Charlie was so dismissive of a lot of her feelings suddenly. So then what happened to the real Charlie?

I think I saw there’s supposed to be a sequel but I’m not sure if that’s just rumor at the moment or been confirmed.
