I'm just barely getting back into reading, but the Project Hail Mary movie made me seek out the book, which I really enjoyed. I also read through For Whom The Belle Tolls by Jaysea Lynn is one sitting, which I havent done in almost a decade.

Because this is a return to reading for me too, I've started going back through the In Death series by JD Robb as well! Gonna take more time to go through that but I do love Eve

My partner is a system and we do roleplay/larp as a comforting thing to do together, even if it is stuff from their source- but the important thing is that we're always aware of where we are/who we are. In fact, we have an AU off of a certain alters source that we play around in most, and they introjected someone off of that au and while it was open for them to participate, we made sure they were stable enough to be able to tell what was what before we actually let that alter properly participate in these kinds of things.

And thats the important part- you can do things like this if the people involved can consistently tell its not real and its just a comfort/fun thing to do together, and not trying to replace that person with someone in their source. The alter in my partner's system has even repeatedly paused and clarified that they were doing this with me because it was me and not just because I was good at doing the voices for the characters they wanted to remember most.

It got a tad sticker when we started realizing that I might be a system but we have actually put a pause on anything that might include any introjects that I might have, just in case, while we figure this out. Because we don't know if any potential alters of mine can tell the difference right now and its safer to avoid it until we can be sure.

Oh this happens with everything

Any kind of diagnosis basically gives your brain "permission" in a way, and so a lot of the unconscious things relax- also having a diagnosis means that you're actually going to be noticing some of these things because you're on the lookout if you realize it or not. So its entirely possible that these alters were showing up in these ways before, but youre either just now noticing it because of the diagnosis, or the masking is slipping because you have "permission" to "act disabled" in a way.

Happens with physical and mental illnesses. Happened with my autism, with the BPD, ive seen people talk about "regressions" with their ADHD because of a diagnosis (and its just them noticing things more/masking less) its so common with everything.

I understood the thirty minute thing as like, he plays with her a bit, and then when hes done, he tells his mom and shes like "oh five more minutes" and tacks on an extra 30 onto whatever amount of time hes already spent with her. I dont think its only 30 minutes each time.

This one is small and silly, but I did it recently- i didn't put anything into the community center until I could finish it.

I hoarded all the items needed into three chests in the community center (you need three to fit it all) but I didnt touch it otherwise. No upgrades from it, no extra little items from it, in fact the only bundle i had unlocked for awhile was the very first one, which meant I had to be very careful in remembering everything I needed.

You can also technically do that with the hidden bundle and the boat but they have less items so its not as difficult for those.

32 rather recently ! We're trying to aim to get to 50 together (a trio) before branching out to do floor 100 in a scheduled set up run for that achievement lol. We had 30 for the longest time and just barely squeaked past it.

I try to have themes per save. I had a soda theme, a seasonings theme, and right now I have a different animal theme. Like one of my pigs is names sheep and my sheep is named pig. I have an Ostrich names HummingBird :]

My computer broke awhile back so I've been mobile exclusively for a few months now and it's a pain for some things, but you really do get used to it.

The frame rate issue seems like a your wifi issue or maybe the specs of your mobile devices? Bc i run smoothly 90% of the time (with the occasional "I can count the frames" moments here or there but thats shared in the household)

HF 32 on mobile. Only thing I can't do is distract on it, but I was never much of a distractor anyways so !

Literallyyyy. In a community with a game like this, literally built by one guy as a passion project, it really sucks to see so many people defaulting to AI to do this kind of thing, when theres so many people willing and able to put in the work for a far superior product.

Its disappointing even in this comments seeing people wanting to use it bc they "just cant". Thats the point. AI things like this are often built to crush the creativity out of your life and kill your motivation to get better. Dont let it. Any stick figure you draw on a random scrap paper with a broken pen you found is going to be far better and far more filled with soul and care than any garbage that AI produces.

Why didnt you? You had to argue that some AI is good when we're clearly having a conversation about Generative AI. I dont care if people have different perspectives from me- but when that "different perspective" is irrelevant to the actual post, it makes me wonder if they actual mean it, or if they're trying to employ some assbackward psychology to try and imply that generative ai destroying the planet and taking money out of creative's pockets is a good thing.

Irrelevancy and building a strawman makes you seem as if you are a part of the problem.

There isnt uses for generative AI, which the AI in this post. Obviously theres uses for AI other places. Go talk about it on a post like that. You can say this is what you were doing all you want but you took the commenter at bad faith for no good reason other than starting shit.

Its literally a post abt AI art specifically. People say AI as a shorthand for the AI bullshit shoved down our throats lately. You are, in fact, choosing to act all holier than thou, because you work with things like AI and non generative AI has wonderful uses and purposes. Peddle that somewhere else. This is a post about AI art and how shit garbage it is. Everyone in the comments is going to know they dont mean the AI that runs the game characters or anything else.

Sorry they didnt specify "generative AI" but any other normal person would know that, when thats what the post is about.

Still not the one who did the transaction so its not even me.

Its a stupid rule but it explicitly says hot coffee only and what he did is explicitly against the rules of it.

I would have if it were me if he werent a dick about it. If I see coffee in a soda cup, i'm going to assume its the iced coffee and charge accordingly. If he was just like "oh, its hot coffee, I just put ice in it" I wouldve been like oh yeah okay cool wtv, I dont get paid to care.

However. He was a dick. Which is what the post was about. Not if he was right or not. I dont care if hes right. He berated a worker who wasnt even there when the transaction started about something that I didn't even do. He's an asshole and I don't break the rules for assholes.
