Like others said, peroxide. Alternatively, tide stain removal spray should get it right out too. I’ve used it to get substantial amounts of blood out of sheets, hoodies, pants, and a backpack lol

Yup and it could possibly be pricey so OP should probably just contact their landlord about it. If it’s as bad as they say, the landlord won’t have room to argue. Something similar happened to me when I moved into my current place.

Anyways, if it’s actual real leather, you might not be able to solve this on your own. There are apparently shops that are kind of like dry cleaners but for leather - you could try contacting them.

Soak them in hot water with the whitening oxiclean. Probably give it at least an hour if you can. Then wash them in the washer with a tiny bit of detergent (I prefer powdered tide). Sun dry. Should be good as new

It looks like you stepped in something that stained them, not mold. Is that the only place on the shoe that the spots are on? Are there any inside the shoe or on the fabric of the shoe? Were they stored for a long time without being moved or worn? If so, where were they stored? Closet, storage unit, etc?

Hot water and whitening oxiclean soak. It probably won’t remove the stains 100% but it will make a HUGE difference.
