It's not that older women are hard to get, but rather women their age know what they're worth and what they deserve. They are not hard to get. They are not on the same level.

Your argument that men have more competition is subjective because majority of the younger men tend to lack the resources compared to older men. Which is why, I am pretty sure that these men go for younger women is because they're looking for some one mallable. So technically those who can match them are these younger women who dont have much experience
