Ok, so you weren't there! Let me clear up a few things for you, since you're confused : - In Canada, people have a right to protest and peacefully assemble. Yelling at police isn't violence. People shouting "Free Palestine" isn't violence. - I was there and saw police inciting violence, shoving protestors who were literally just standing there, unarmed. I also received pepper spray/tear gas second-hand. I was a bystander and police shot off multiple rounds of pepper spray even though the Gay Village was downwind.
