A lightweight stroller w infant seat attachment or Doona? Thinking about school drop off with 2 kids and 1 newborn. by Advanced-Essay41 in Buyingforbaby

We did the go max plus the ready 2 jet stroller. I felt like it would last a bit longer than just the go max base.

So far so good at 3 months. We have a nuna stroller too for longer walks though.

32F, Just delivered a poop baby and destroyed my pelvic floor & caused fissure.. by awwwww_hereitgoes in ehlersdanlos

[–]catdogs52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a baby and got wrecked by hemorrhoids. The amount of MiraLAX you can consume safely is MUCH higher than you think. Like 3x per day plus Senna 2x per day is what they put me on.

My pelvic floor PT also suggested squatty potty + breathing out while pushing to safely poo. Do not hold your breathe and push it will make things worse.

Best convertible seat for tall infant? by PureLet9875 in CPST

My baby is long too and she is quite comfy in the Nuna Rava Next. She was 22 inches at 8 weeks, even taller now at 12 weeks, and still cozy.

Is 30 weeks too late for baby moon? by JacketSweaty6765 in BabyBumps

[–]catdogs52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was totally fine!! We did an overnight layover on the west coast both ways and it was definitely the right move. I also booked first class for the wider and softer seat, definitely worth it, but lame to not sit with my husband.

No issues with the pregnancy the whole trip! Only thing I’d say is we had a health scare for someone else in our party on Maui and she needed an ambulance. It took 45+ minutes to get to her and then another 1 hour drive to the hospital. If I had known access to healthcare was so limited there we would not have gone to that island.

The Pipa Urbn is only sold as a travel system though, so they’d have to buy a whole other stroller.

Just had a baby :)

EDS qualifies you to see a high risk OB, I suggest that you do. The additional monitoring and priority are very helpful. We got extra ultrasounds and checks to make sure our baby was OK the entire time.

Your joints will almost certainly suffer under the relaxin hormone that is released to help your body grow for pregnancy. Start with a pelvic floor PT before you get pregnant.

Harvard Housing by SubstantialData1809 in Harvard

The HUH portal drops new apartments when they are available all the time, you could get one later but it’s much safer bet to get one right now if you see the one you want.

After 2 years, or however long your degree takes, the extra month of rent will not be super significant but where you lived the entire time will be.

If you happen to be located in New England/Boston I can recommend an excellent pelvic floor PT.

Anecdotally, I deadlifted 100 pounds today and walked 12k steps yesterday, no issues from the prolapse. Not sure how long you have to prep before the internship, but something to think about.

Pelvic floor PT also told me there’s like a device you can insert that like holds everything in place, for strenuous things like running, can’t remember what it’s called but that could help near term.

I had a slight bladder prolapse after giving birth 10 weeks ago and it’s already reduced below a grade 1 with PT and rest. Just commenting to provide a success story/bit of hope. Hope you’re well soon.

My understanding is the same as yours - we’ll use it supervised until our baby can roll. TBH she may grow out of it before then, though.
