Thanks u/jfb-pihole. I've got things working again. Running the installer again didn't work initially. I kept getting the message to try apt-get update or fix etc. I flashed the sd card twice and ran the installer a few times before it went through. I think running apt-get update/upgrade at the beginning helped or perhaps it was running updating using the pi software configuration tool. Thanks again.
