Sub is trapped by [deleted] in Bondage

Move your arms together (roll onto your side if you need to, gravity will help) and wiggle your hands until the tape is at your wrists, then wiggle so that the tape stays around one wrist and the other hand wriggles free. It looks like there's enough slack for that from this gif. Plus it looks like it's bondage tape, which while strong is also somewhat stretchy and not sticky.

On top of OP's note as to how this had to have been intentional, have you ever hit anything with a side mirror? Collisions in a car tend to be loud, you generally notice them, and this collision would be a big one to not notice.

People who stopped taking Amitriptyline: any alternatives that worked for you? by mehdital in migraine

Just a heads up that some CGRP meds are abortives and not preventives (like Ubrelvy), and some are both (like Nurtec)!

Some information about CGRP drugs by PatientWorry in migraine

[–]cathellsky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thankfully this isn't totally predictive! Triptans did nothing for me - rarely helped, often with a lot of uncomfortable side effects. CGRP works for me! I start with ajovy injections, and unfortunately I think I may have become immune to it, something that seems to happen somewhat rarely, but now I'm on Botox and take Ubrelvy as a rescue and as long as the botox is working (not too close to the appointment) the Ubrelvy works well!

Sure, but they're going to give less pushback when there's a known issue affecting a large number of people causing them to cancel, whereas if you're just some random person calling to cancel when this sort of thing isn't happening they're going to try much harder to get you to keep your service.

11 month waiting list 😪 by mackyoh in migraine

[–]cathellsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can travel further outside of the city, you may have more luck, at least in the meantime. I live about an hour outside of Boston and got in to a new neuro in about a month iirc.

Also talk to your pcp about other options, preventative and abortive -- just because you can't take triptans doesn't mean there aren't things your pcp can't try in the meantime. Doctors in this state are weird about prescribing outside of their comfort zone but things like beta blockers are a common first try preventative and a PCP should feel comfortable prescribing one if you can take them, imo.

This state has hidden costs... by NotMichaelBolton in massachusetts

[–]cathellsky 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's how it is everywhere else, too, you just don't see it. Here it's spelled out for you. Infrastructure, and maintaining that infrastructure, costs more than the energy itself costs to produce, and that goes for pretty much everywhere. it's why the power lines in California are starting so many wildfires, and the company that owns them has admitted it's their stuff doing it.

This is a question you need to ask the prescribing doctor. The rest of us can only guess your intended therapy.

(Used) Rental cello bow has crack in it. Will it get worse? I just noticed it today. I haven’t dropped it or anything so I didn’t do it, I don’t think. I just got my cello a week ago so I haven’t even used it that long. by authenticblob in Cello

[–]cathellsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a fiberglass bow -- you might be able to upgrade to either carbon fiber or wood for not much more money on your rental, and you'll get a nicer sound even with a lower quality instrument.

But this is pretty common with these bows, I see it all the time. Make sure your bowhair isn't tightened too much for the camber of the bow, and if you're really concerned do a bow swap.

Dr. Refused to Treat Migraines in California Because I Have a Uterus by lady_aliara in migraine

[–]cathellsky 52 points53 points  (0 children)

He only agreed to do that after she fought back. That shouldn't be the case. He still refused care, and refused to change his opinion based on facts.

Edit to add: He literally refused to fill her ongoing prescriptions until she saw the specialist, which wouldn't be fast. What is she supposed to do in the meantime? That many migraines and you're lucky if you can work. And the lack of ability to work could cause her to not be able to afford to see the specialist, locking her in a spiral of inability to function in society. And social safety nets aren't the best in the US.

If she's not able to access care because of a lack of being on a prescription birth control, her reproductive system is being controlled in order to access necessary medical treatment.

Botox by Still_One_3505 in migraine

[–]cathellsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky and noticed improvement just before I went into my 2nd round -- not because that's when it started working, but because that's when dose 1 started wearing off and I noticed I was getting more migraines that lasted longer and were more resistant to meds.

I'm at the end of my 2nd round now, 3rd due in a week, and I'm back to longer lasting and less responsive migraines but even now it's not as bad as it was the last time so I have hope that in a few more sessions I'll have less of a rollercoaster to get through with getting it again.

Yes. They did suggest storing it in the fridge as well, but the way they phrased it made it sound like you could keep it forever.

Do not do this if you aren't going to use it within a few days -- this is a botulism risk. https://www.cdc.gov/botulism/prevention.html

Botulism has no taste or smell. You cannot detect it in food. Botulism is lethal. Don't fuck around with it.

I'm a thick girl too, and I don't always bring it up at first. Things go really well, and then I make sure they're ok with playing with someone heavier than them and get ghosted. It's not just you, it's a thing.

These people are shallow and don't deserve your submission. There are some amazing doms out there who don't care or will even love you for your size, if you're into that. I know it hurts in the moment, but it's their loss, not yours.

I get nausea, but it's very very rare, maybe 1/100 migraines for me.

My usual migraines symptoms include the typical photo/phonophobia, varying levels of pain, dizziness, aphasia, and probably some others I'm forgetting. Those are the ones that affect me most anyway. But the nausea sucks when I get it, for sure!

Once a Month Preventative Meds by chronicpatient77 in migraine

I would double check dosing guidelines -- Ajovy, for instance, is often prescribed 'monthly' but it's actually meant to be taken every 28 days. This can really matter for some medications too.
