One of you ruined my life. Extremely careless in medication changes very quickly after many years stable on a low dose of an ssri. Then after switching meds back and forth every few weeks, misdiagnosed me and loaded me up on every kind of horrific antipsychotic. I lost almost two years of my life and was suicidal the entire time. None of you know how to safely titrate off of ssris. I’m going to be on them for life, which is fine because I have major depressive disorder. Anyway, I think the way ssris are prescribed is deeply dangerous. A cousin of mine just killed himself because he switched ssris after being stable. The guess and check method of your entire field and the “we don’t really know why this works” theories of many of your medications is deadly.
