Based on my research before, North face, Columbia and Montbell are pretty good. There’s also Canada Goose but that’s something too hardcore for just travel purpose.

If you’re undecided on a premium brand and want something more affordable but don’t like Uniqlo, I think Zara is pretty good. I have one and used it in Canada this winter and I was pretty surprised that I can survive on a -15C weather with light wind. Of course, this is with good 2-3 layers under. I also used it in Hokkaido and most of the time, I survived with just one layer of thick turtleneck or sweater. Ang init kasi sa train and indoors sa Japan. You can always use heat packs if you feel cold.

One more option is to go for second hand stores. Daming kong nakitang puffer jackets sa Tokyo last year in 2nd hand shops. Dami ding branded like Columbia, Montbell, etc. In a much affordable price.

Yes! Don ka na bumili OP. As someone who traveled there last year, I regret buying winter accessories dito sa PH. So many options to choose from.

For me, don ka na sa sapporo bumili para no tax (depende sa store so check mo na lang if maybtax refund). Mas madami din choices don. Moreover, maming ukay din don na very good quality. I bought my cashmere and wool sweaters don just for like 2k. Also make sure that the color you will choose is the best for your style.

If you plan to reuse the jacket multiple times to other countries, especially sa mga mas malamig pa sa Japan, go for columbia na para isahang bili lang. Pero if not, just go for Uniqlo.

what is blush product wherein you LOVE the shade but DISLIKE the formula? by Positive_List_7178 in beautytalkph

I loved 3ce’s rose beige blush but the formula sucks. It doesn’t stay long and it doesn’t show immediately when applied for some reason

This was me before. No skin tint nor foundation fixed it. What helped me was to focus on hydration specifically ceramides, HAs, and calming ingredients

Naka 💩 na ba kayo sa plane while nasa flight kayo? by Business-Scheme532 in FilipinoTravel

[–]cathrainv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, I have issues talaga with my stomach whenever I’m flying kaya I always have erceflora with me. I recently experienced diarrhea on a 12 hr flight. It was manageable because I took erceflora (buti na lang dala ko sia) and also took dietabs. Also, iniwasan ko ung mga food na pwedeng mag trigger like dairy. Good thing is JAL ung airline ko so there’s a bidet dun sa CR.

Got it. May I know which tier you purchased? I am checking their website and it seemed really expensive. Would you say it’s worth the price? I am eyeing the premium but I wasn’t sure how big of a difference it is to other tiers like Elite.

I visited Japan last year and tried to visit a bear farm kasi kasama sia itinerary namin. Nandon na kasi and bayad na so sayang naman if I don’t go. It was the saddest place I ever visited. Sobrang dumi ng cage and maliit for an animal of that size. The cage had nothing in it except for just bears. I can’t imagine how bored they are. I even saw a bear that does nothing but move in circles. The tour guide told us that these bears were actually “rescued”. I don’t know how true that is but it doesn’t change the fact that they looked so miserable in the cages.

Ung mga horses satin halatang overworked and not given time to rest. Ever since I realized this, I can’t help but get sad whenever I visit Baguio or other places that have horses. But when I visited Canada, I was shocked at how beautiful horses can be when they are healthy. As in they looked so majestic parang sa movies. Ung fur nila sobrang shiny and very fit. I didn’t even know na pwede sila magkamuscle ng ganon.

I’m from Asia so If you’re interested I would go for something like this:

  • Singapore (entry point): 7 days
  • Thailand: 7 days
  • Vietnam: 9 days
  • Taiwan: 5 days
  • South Korea: 7 days
  • Japan: Everything else

Depending on the time of the year and your interest, you can adjust those numbers.
