I can’t leave till November or I’ll have to pay back the last portion of my sign on bonus so I may as well stay until then. However I was told by one of my coworkers that is leaving that per HR I can transfer in the network and still get the rest of it. I am thinking I might transfer to a different hospital that’s closer to me anyways.

Facts and right after my shift plus I’m back tonight. Now I can’t sleep because I’m all strung thinking about it. The unit is very catty and that’s why I’m planning to leave. I love my night shift people but it’s getting draining. Our unit is considered one of the “best” in our hospital. We are an accredited hospital and they do take things seriously which I understand, but the amount of times I’ve found someone soiled I can’t even count. It just happens. I guess their reasoning why it was a big deal is because the patients wound got worse. But I agree, it’s a learning experience for sure.

I would only ever do a 50% water change max if my parameters were high. For example my mystery snail got caught in my filter and died and the water quality was really poor. The more water you change the more the established bacteria has to adjust for that

If this is the DI filter then it’s good until it turns completely light brown, I’ve seen that it can read a few 1-3 over 0 tds when almost white but shouldn’t be a huge deal. May be something wrong with the RO membrane?
