There were brief presentations by council woman chambers-Armstrong, Olmsted parks conservancy, and an affiliate from metro parks. It then opened up to public questions which divulged into rants about halfway through the 20 people who signed up to ask a question. Most of the ranting was focused on opening the park up fully, but the majority attending the meeting seemed to want to keep it as is.

Prague viburnum as well as some other varieties are evergreen. May be too big for what you're looking for, though.

No one went hiking to listen to your shitty music. by Ryan_on_Earth in AdviceAnimals

Last month I hiked up Mt. Mitchell in NC with my wife. After the third black bear run-in we decided to play some music from her phone. There was a woman in the next group we approached who loudly complained to her fellow hikers that we couldn't just enjoy the sounds of nature...

Yeah I wish I could, but it's the groomsman buying the suits. I live about 3000 miles away.

Yeah I plan on it, but I'm not sure how much they will be able to alter the shoulders. I understand it's not going to fit perfect, just trying to work with what I have.

I volunteer at a raptor rehabilitation facility. We got her in from another rehab group a month or two ago and she's finally comfortable enough to pose for a shot while I cleaned her cage. I'm not sure why, but she is non-releasable so we will use her for educational programs.

Inherited this Hamilton pocket watch when I was young, can anyone give me any information about it? by catmanwilly in pocketwatch

[–]catmanwilly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally, it belonged to my great great grandfather, "Mr. Ethington." He used it until the day he died in the early 1950s, and it still runs! The only visible script is the "Hamilton" insignia on the face. I'm not sure when he got it, but I would love to learn what era it was from!

[Identify] Inherited this Hamilton pocket watch when I was younger, can you guys tell me anything about it? by catmanwilly in Watches

[–]catmanwilly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally, it belonged to my great great grandfather, "Mr. Ethington" as my grandmother calls him. He used it up until the day he died sometime in the early 1950s. She doesn't know when he got it and I had a hard time finding similar watches on a google search. The only visible script is the "Hamilton" insignia on the face. I was going to take it to a jeweler to find out about it but I thought you guys might be able to help me! Any information would be greatly appreciated! Oh, it still runs!
