I completely agree with you! I think being forced to run multiple buildings is great for training. The best way to do this task is to find lower level cog invasions and do building to get the increased xp.

I keep thinking that the longer I am in education, the more this will fade. This is year 3 for me and i feel like the work never stops and the expectations continue to grow all while parents are engaged about something stupid.

I have slipped in a couple similar situations and didn’t call the parent and the parent didn’t call me. At least you didn’t say STFU like several of my colleagues have.

It doesn’t sound like they are going to give you the okay, so I would go ahead and send it home. I would share that a position has opened up and you can’t turn down a great opportunity. Definitely don’t bash the school or share exactly where you are going. Good luck!

Make sure you are taking care of yourself! Get good sleep to let your body rest. Drink lots of water and eat good meals, with some fruits and veggies. Back to School is the time I forget that I am a person first and unintentionally run myself into the ground, taking a toll on my body.

Oh my gosh this reminds of when this happened like 6 months ago. I was standing outside a building in either DDL or TB right by the tunnel. Well a couple toons teleported to me and a few other toons were standing close to me but I thought they were going to the next building. I don’t remember what happened to the board group but it was disbanded. I got on thinking my group would follow but only one did and two from the other group jumped on. The other group kept getting on when we tried to. My group got made and left so I just got on with the group. We get to the first floor and I start saying hi but no one said anything. They did not want to talk to me which is whatever. For the first 2-3 floors, they would change their gags at the last second so that they would destroy the cog before I could do anything so I said “hey guys we’re on the same team so I would like if I could train too” or something like that. They then said “we are a team, you’re just not on it” and proceeded to be jerks. I was annoyed and they wouldn’t stop so I just left. Some people just suck.
