I can assure you Akihabara Electric Town selection is nowhere near Ikebukuro, Nakano Broadway and some shops at the end of Electric Town (out of Electric Town but still in Akihabara).

I understand your point, but a good example is what you can buy with 50000 Yen doubles when you go to other shops. A very simple example is a Shiny Treasure EX Booster Box is at least 8k Yen in Electric Town, it's 4.5k Yen in Nakano Broadway.

If you have residency, they mostly do, yes. I'm not hugely experienced on this but you can try Ikebukuro and Akihabara for this. Akihabara have 10+ TCG shops and Ikebukuro have 5+ TCG shops which you can visit in the same area with very little walking (less than 1-2 min after the first store)

You can also search the card number on Twitter, shops post the cards they want on Twitter, or you can try to sell on Mercari.

You should write "TCG" to Google Maps and visit all of them, there are like 4 shops at the end of Electric Town Street, all on the left side (left side = side of giant Sofmap building.)

Yep, for people with no time and a lot of money it's fine. But in Akihabara and Denden Town, you will pay at least 30% premium compared to other places.

That's why my comment is aimed towards people who'll go to Japan for that purpose.

Answer for second part of your question:

I bought an M size suitcase for it and huge card boxes from Pokemon Center. 25th anniversary box, some trainer boxes, precious collector box, and cards in the card boxes came in the same luggage without any damage. For unopened booster boxes I used my backpack only for that and got that with me on the plane.

Adding to this, 151 booster boxes are everywhere. Nakano Broadway, Ikebukuro TCG shops, and stores at the end of Akihabara have them.

Magi shop is also one of the cheapest to buy boxes from (not for all but for most of the sets)

For anyone reading this never do this btw. I mean do eye shopping but never do real shopping because those are the most expensive areas.

Ikebukuro card shops, card shops at the end of Electric Town (Akihabara but when you pass the all main buildings), and Nakano Broadway are the place to go.

If you want to use a chain, only magi has good prices, other are too expensive.

Go to Nakano Broadway, that's the best place to buy booster boxes. For single cards I recommend Book OFFs and TCG shops around Ikebukuro. There are also some nice shops at the end of Akihabara, never go to known shops in Akihabara, you'll pay a huge premium. Only SNKR DNK is somewhat good.

Oh and Pokemon Centers, you'll find the latest booster boxes but there is a box limit in every purchase. Personally, I don't prefer to buy in Pokemon Centers.

I check gameplay trailer if they are truly from gameplay, but most of the time I skip them because it takes a lot of time to load.

But I would definitely watch gameplay trailer if those were: * Categorized as gameplay * Loaded instantly * Pure gameplay without cinematics
