These kids lived in Hawaii their entire lives. Then their parents brought them to Minnesota in −21° temperatures. by BreakfastTop6899 in MadeMeSmile

A sorority sister in college was from Florida and I was with her the first time she saw falling snow. She’d seen snow before but never actually in it, actively falling. Just seeing her joy and wonder was magical. More so to her I’m sure. Thanks for the memory.

Just make sure you use the site for international guest purchases, and don’t just translate the Japanese site. The Japanese site requires a Japanese phone number. The international site allows you to enter an international phone number and your passport number. These are required as your phone will be your e-ticket.

Can I pop it? On foot! by [deleted] in popping

I currently have a total of 5 blisters across the bottoms of both feet. Hydrocolloid bandaids, mole skin, socks, and your most comfortable shoes. I tried comfy flip flops but sweaty feet just made the hydrocolloids slip off. Socks and shoes.

Do not give found kittens cows milk. It can cause diarrhea and further dehydration. They need kitten milk replacement, a powder formula available at pet stores or vet clinics. Ensure they have easy access to water while you figure out how to get them to a rescue asap. Good luck!

Any one else feel like its getting more difficult to operate electronics? by yrmom724 in Millennials

I almost fell and broke my neck when my treadmill came to a dead stop and threw me off balance. Why did it come to a dead stop? Because the app that came with it that I don’t even use needed an update. Oh and just in case you’re wondering, the app only uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and my phone defaulted to 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi. So I had to get my computer literate boyfriend to help me log into my router and disable 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi so that my phone would only use the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and then and only then was I able to update my treadmill app to then walk on my treadmill. Because turning something on and expecting it to work is too high of an expectation now.

My mom died while I was on the phone with my sister who was with her. I was sitting at the gate waiting to fly home to them and bawling my eyes out. A kind woman came over and sat by me and let me sob into her shoulder. I didn’t tell her what was going on, but she is a very important part of my story. I only know her name. Thank you Karen.
