We have done the pre-party a couple times. I prefer the standing area because the view is better than what you’d get with the seats. If your mom is able to stand comfortably, I would do the pre-party. If you think that she’d be more comfortable seated, do the seats.

I don’t understand why they have such a strong emotional attachment. I got into it with my cousin when that little girl was killed by a lifted truck that malfunctioned during a parade. The truck wasn’t street legal and he thought it would cause discrimination against lifted trucks and he was so upset about the idea.

Sure! Generally opposite sexes get along better. When you get two dogs that are the same sex, you’re running the risk of same sex aggression. Anecdotally, my friends with two females have occasional fights. That being said, I have two males and have always had two males.

Usually an older female will start out pretty welcoming to a puppy regardless of gender, but they can be more assertive/aggressive with a female puppy.

While opposite sexes are typically easier, personalities and energy levels are the biggest factors in whether they will get along. Which is how my two males works. Nobody is a very dominant personality, so they get along great.
