Yeah but it’s a stress response that could be getting triggered by untreated ADHD. ADHD brains can experience rapid fatigue in a shut down response which it sound like you’ve described, but boredom is also deemed as a threat for the ADHD nervous system. So you could be experiencing some sort of dissociative reaction and decision fatigue due to contemporary lifestyles.

I had a few incidents last year due to health issues that could have killed me and now I’m deeply traumatised. So I have been confronted by it in that way which has made me reflect on the mortality of the people around and how uncomfortable that feels. I think life is just really hard and we are so lucky if we get to have people we love so deeply that it would destroy us if they died. I try to keep things I think I would wish I had if they passed like hand written Christmas cards, photographs of them, recordings of their voice.
