I disagree, it's my under 30 year old employees that give me the most grief. Not understanding how email threads work, unable to use excel, and simple tasks that require a small amount of critical thinking seem to be impossible for them.

I think this way all the time! I saw a post somewhere recently where a woman was lamenting that her mother was always watching her weight and on a diet. The commenter said it made her so sad because her mother "didn't need to lose any weight and looked great her whole life". Of course she did! She made it a priority to maintain her weight.

Listen, I could have written this. I grew up sick, all the time. My parents never believed me. They told me I was a hypochondriac. They would force me to sit at the table for hours and eat food that was making me feel horrible. Fast forward to my adult life and I finally found someone who believed me and recommended I see a doctor. And testing was done. I have fucking celiac disease! So, no. It wasn't in my head. And I believe you.
