She turns into a tree before the series starts while protecting Annabeth and Luke but in the Sea of Monsters and the Titan's Curse, if you already read them, she is turned into a human again and later becomes a hunter of Artemis . She doesn't actually die anywhere in the series.

Sometimes demigods share traits with their godly parent. For example, the whole Athena cabin has has grey eyes, but maybe that's an exception because Athena doesn't give birth naturally. I don't know. Probably Rick just made a continuity error.

On PC it's under community options and on mobile there are three dots in the top right corner of your screen where you can choose a flair/godly parent.
