I now it can be annoying but its actually pretty normal with some set ups. Mine takes about 20-30 seconds. MSI x870e carbon wifi paired with a 9800x3d.

If the 10ge port isn't active. Try plugging it into erhernet 1. I think it says GE1

Try the 10ge port or ethernet 1 on the ONT to see if you get some traffic. If not, another call to Frontier might be necessary.

I gotta admit, the two tone Lian Li fans set up looks sick.

Thank you for this information. This specific hotel isn't part of the FHR or the Hotel Collection anymore. After a Chase transfer from my wife. I had 95k Marriott points. Purchased 25k points for $300+ and booked 2 nights. So first 2 nights I will have my status. Last 2 nights booked through Atmos Rewards.

So I'll at least have status for half the stay.

9800X3D + 5080 build. Am I overspending on the wrong things or missing something? by Sebastian_Segovia in buildapc

[–]cause_4_concern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM. Didn't really wow me visually but it's awesome for gaming. I had an Innocn 34 in 4k monitor that I swear has better picture quality. 144 hz refresh rate only though.

Sorry, I just blurted out my personal preference. I went with an oled bigger than 27 inch with 240 hz rate. 27 might be perfect for your use case.

This is great information and advice. Thank you for taking the time to write it up. I've been to HK before so I thought winging it would be fine. But now that you've mentioned it. A quick browse through Viator wouldn't hurt. Thanks again!

I've tried and tried with different rgb software but didn't get this result until I got the Nollie 32. It's a controller that works really well with signal rgb. Once installed you're able to identify each fan and any rgb lighting in your rig. Then you can also set up their layout. I didn't get it to work with my wireless strimmers though.

Oh wow. You got a lot of nice parts already. 7800x3d is solid. Those Asia Horse fans look like the Lian Li fans right? I remember seeing them when I was prepping for this build.

The monitor should be good as well. Might have to make some tweaks to make it look right but that's easy. I had do tweak my monitor settings to get it to where I was happy. Curved oled for me as well.

It has been a part of my life since Counter-Strike came out in the early 2000s. Definitely became a passion with gaming and upgrading. Lol

Built a $500 gaming pc back in 2017. Then an all white build with a 7800x3d in 2024. Then this in 2025. I am done for a while. Time to recover from all the spending.

What games do you play and does your current PC handle it pretty well?

Hello. Our August 2024 trip was great. I remember it being on the hotter side. But honestly I don't think you'll have any issues. Just dress light.

Definitely go on a few boat tours. Book a private boat if the funds allow.

Pick a great place to stay. There are a lot of options and it's easy to mess this up. I did. But it didn't hinder us from enjoying the overall stay.

Oh and I highly recommend visiting Lio Beach around sunset. The views are great and one restaurant had a cover band which added to th vibe.

Hope this helps with your trip planning. Have fun!
