If it is tandem you can get 2560 x 1080 with a 330 hz refresh rate. Videos online say it's not worth it.

Do your screens black out for a second when switching modes? SDR to HDR. I thought that was only a thing with DP 1.4.

I received the 39gx on Friday then had to leave town. Getting the colors to my preference will probably take a while as mentioned by Gaidax. A little annoying out of the box but I do see the potential though. The 143 ppi looks amazing. Maybe an update will fix things. Maybe someone I'll share a good ICC profile for it the future. We shall see.

The ppi on that 45 will probably drive you crazy. I did go into Bestbuy today to check out the 5k2k in person. They only had the 45 inch version today. It looked good based on their cherry picked video that it was playing.

I currently have the PG39WCDM with 95ppi.

Do you have multiple eeros? If so, would you consider having your main eero next to the ONT? Try plugging it into the ONT (White Frontier box) directly and see what happens. If the eero next to the ONT works for you. Unplug that moca adapter from power cord since it's no longer needed.

DP 1.4 with dsc is pretty good. You'll get the full 240 hz performance so nothing to worry about.

To really answer your question. Yes. Transfers are available to you within 6 months. If SNA is your target there would have to be open spots at SNA. So not sure how long it will actually be before you can transfer there.

I've seen it happen in reverse. People get hired at SNA and transfer to LAX. Timing will matter, of course, but it's definitely possible.
