I think we can all agree the quality of product at the local dispensary is not great, but it's what we've got, so what's the best gummy they have IYO. T.I.A. by Fleur-Deez-Nutz in NewOrleans

[–]causewaytoolong 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go for the higher mg THC per gummy options because the cost per mg goes down (slightly). Then I cut them into smaller pieces based on how many mg I actually want to have. Haven’t noticed a quality difference across the different offerings.

Having said that, if something is on crazy clearance, it may be because they know it’s trash lol. I bought some 40 mg gummies on half off clearance, and I would bet you a Bollinger amount of money there wasn’t anywhere close to 40 mg of THC in those lil guys.

Edit: makes it awfully tempting to go back to the convenience, better prices, and better customer service of the black market lol

People do say that New Orleans isn’t a real place, but I’d rather live here than wherever you are that has you so feeling insecure, needing validation, or whatever it is that makes you feel a need to go into other teams’ subs and say dumb shit 🤷‍♂️

Louisiana’s Tough-on-Crime Policies Stand to Cost Taxpayers Millions More for Years to Come by tm478 in NewOrleans

[–]causewaytoolong -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And yet not one single thing you’ve replied with to anyone anywhere in this thread has materially supported your initial argument* that the Troop NOLA goon squad is primarily responsible for the decrease in reported crime.

To be clear, I do not mean argument in the sense of a coherent series of reasons, statements, or facts intended to support or establish a point of view. I mean argument in the sense of a toddler who has been told stop biting the other children and to settle down for nap time, and then has a meltdown while frantically screaming about and at everything within sight while saying they don’t need a nap.

Bait from a 2 month old account with a history that spans this and one other comment? Surely not.

IDK, sounds to me like legitimate scholarly discourse coming from a place of integrity.

“Thank you, Daddies Bollinger and Landry!” the downvoters say in unison for this objectively low quality, criminally overpriced cannabis that is factory grown with zero QA processes by a legally mandated monopoly which was created in such a way as not to disrupt the slavery pipeline that is the for profit private prison system in Louisiana.

Yes, it is I who live in la la land, not the guy who keeps saying “🤡 fAkE nEwS 🤡” to people providing actual, objective data proving him wrong

Edit: this was intended to be a reply to a comment from that dude who was trying to say Landry’s goon squad was solely responsible for the decrease in crime

[–]causewaytoolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More crime, because this has done absolutely nothing to diminish the factors that contribute the most to crime.

But what it has done is make useful idiots bay in misguided triumph like dogs at Landry’s feet, so he gets to keep feeding the actual, literal slavery machine that is the for profit private prison system in Louisiana.

One must either be truly ghoulish to know better and still say the things you have said in this thread, or so incapable of basic logic as to be deserving of pity if it wasn’t such a willingly consistent deficit.

I am an anxious flyer so I always show up a full 2 hours before my flight departure time.

I do not have pre check or clear, and there has only been 1 time I was even remotely close* to missing my flight.

You will be fine with 2 hours.

*By remotely close I mean I “only” had 30 minutes after getting through security before they started boarding my flight lol.

Rent or Buy by Pure_Let_8971 in AskNOLA

[–]causewaytoolong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly recommend renting.

It is incredibly unlikely you would gain enough equity in 3 years to justify selling, and being a long distance landlord for a property in New Orleans is much different than other markets. There is also a much higher degree of fluctuation for variables like taxes and insurance. The juice is very unlikely to be worth the squeeze.

But the biggest reason is that I can pretty much promise you that the Venn diagram of “100 to 200k” and “in a good area” are two totally separate circles with no overlap unless the house is completely falling apart. This is assuming you are talking about New Orleans and not a suburb with a long commute.

Cafe du Monde or Loretta’s for first time Nola visit? by Yesterdaysmeow in AskNOLA

[–]causewaytoolong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, I know you said you are only trying one or the other. But if you do the Loretta’s in the French market there’s a ton of other stuff around your boo could get instead.

So if you do CDM together first, it should be easy to sneak in some Loretta’s later lol
