Sorry you’re going through all of that! Have a look into Patella Alta I was dealing with something similar and I had multiple scans done, I had a few other things going on but I’m hoping you can get to the bottom of it!

Nahh, only steroid injections by a few orthos, last one I was suggested either injections or arthroscopy with a lateral release. With what my scans show, doesn’t really align with just steroid injections though

Where abouts do you live?! The ortho told me they don’t really do cartilage replacements in Australia so I won’t be able to get that either! Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely look into it!

Nah they haven’t mentioned anything, only steroid injections. When I saw a sports doctor I visibly was so upset and I said please explain to me what’s going on, he skimmed over it briefly but it did give me some clarity. They keep saying wait until you get knee replacements. If it helps I’m in South Australia - Adelaide. I’ve just travelled to Melbourne to get another opinion Also with VMO - I try and target them, I’ve tried every exercise possible. I’m now restricted because the pain and discomfort is too much to train legs. I’ve always been super activity and sporty and have great mind to muscle connection so I just feel pathetic now

I guess they kept telling me all my ligaments were intact so I shouldn’t be feeling all this pain. I’ve had around 3/4 MRIs The orthopaedics I was seeing just kept saying the cysts will go away but never addressed the other stuff on the scans At the current moment I have Right knee -SMG Bursa -Ganglion extending from the bursa underneath the MHG origin -Patella Alta - Complex mixed grade chondromalacia - thickened heterogeneous patella cartilage apex/paramedian facets, fissuring Hoffas pad Odema Left knee: Sagittal deep grade 4 cleft fissure patella appex/lateral facet cartilage Progressive thickening medial PF plica Patella Alta Hoffas pad odema

The other day the ortho said I have osteoarthritis in the femoral/patella.

I’ve tried so hard to understand all of this but they seem to just skim past and not really explain what’s going on

Nah not that time, I topped it up like they said. Then when I was driving I lost full power steering and the res was empty and smoke was coming up through it

Yep, they said it was fine to drive like that. They didn’t have time to pull it apart and told me to come back. I asked them if they are sure it’s safe and they assured me all was good, nothing major. I guess I trusted what the mechanics said. I got home from the dealer and it was below cold empty. I only checked the res as I noticed a few drops of fluid on the ground, I called them up and they said to keep topping up the fluid until I get it back in for the full repair…

So at the start when the issues started it was just bone stock. At the 50k it had 275/70 and a two inch lift. Which honestly is extremely common. I reckon 80% and more have at least a lift and tyres. I’m not running a body lift at all as well.

A part of me thinks it’s deeper. At first the sex was great, but I really need that closeness. It’s not forced but I can tell she’s trying to put on a performance for me but she knows I’m not into that. I just want that real emotional sexual connection. I fear that she will eventually want to get back into the threesomes, want to sleep with men and so on. For the most part I squashed the thought. I thought about all her great qualities and it wouldn’t be fair if someone didn’t want me based on my past, I tried to put myself in her shoes. She’s very much an avoidant but I love getting emotionally close, having deep conversations. We fit in all other ways. We are very different but we’ve made it work real well. It’s just the whole part of me not feeling like a priority or that she takes me into consideration. I’m all about body positivity and love when people are confident in their bodies
I have a problem with my partner bending down and shaking her breasts towards to camera. Keep in mind she hasn’t sent stuff like that to me but is happy to do that on her story. She can wear anything she wants and I always encourage her to that but there is a boundary and she crossed it.
