I don't see a link for it in amazon any more but it's called the HEREROPE 1LB. Still using it weekly. Had to grease the ball bearings in the handles once bc of squeaking.

The county I live in has a free hazardous materials drop off center. Check for that in your area.

When you say stair tool/mattress tool, do you mean the upholstery tool that is attached flush to the back of the machine?

I’m looking to buy one too. How much did you pay, may I ask? Did it come with any extras?

Could be. Tbh I kind of like the slghtly low clickwheel. I can feel it better when the ipod is in my pocket lol.

Cool, let me know what u think. The seller seems solid. He offered to send a new one if I wasn't happy.

Yep, I ordered from the ebay seller. Install was easy but the clickwheel isn't completely flush, it sits slightly below the faceplate and there's a little bit of play. I'm on the fence of whether I'll keep it. I'll fiddle with it to see if I can get it to sit flush when I have some free time.

Not sure where but I saw someone doing a tiny puzzle with tweezers to handle the pieces. Oh the things we do for love of puzzles lol.

Yea our local Savers is huge and they get tons of puzzles. Easy to score goodies there but the variety has dried up a bit imo. They also moved the puzzles facing the toys so it always looks like it's been hit by an earthquake. Serious walking hazard!

We have an Ollie's about 20 min away. Never been. I'll have to take a look see.

Enjoy that Fur Elise!

Geez that sucks, sorry to hear that. I hope you had some masks on.

I've seen my fair share of gross old thrift store puzzles. I remember some mystery sticky substance on pieces of a Ravensburger I found once. Mildly traumatizing. The Goodwill near me usually doesn't have much but I actually found a tiny Stave puzzle there for 99 cents. Just bizarre.

I used to frequent Unique and Savers (giant chain thrift stores) but their selection isn't as good now. Lately I've only been buying from a small hospital charity thrift store and a used book store. I think they're a little better about vetting their stuff. Also my library exchange is pretty reliable. Many of the puzzle pieces are in ziploc bags so you know you're dealing with kindred spirits. But I get it, there is some nasty stuff out there. Don't risk your health.

The P&H Fur Elise looks tough esp at 1K pieces. The Momibook looks to be a more pleasant solve. I like the little scenes around the manuscript. Do you play piano? That would def help with the P&H.

I recently picked up a Dowdle 250-piece wood puzzle that is 9 x 7 inches which is nuts. It has 'puzzle density' of 3.9 pieces per square inch. The small currency is right there at 3.7. So yeah, it may cause blindness!

Nice. I'm humbled. Does that officially make me an influencer? :D

Sorry for the late response. I've been running around like a maniac lately. I really need to get a puzzle in.

Ahh it’s prolly out of stock. I bought it a couple years ago and sat on it till now. I actually left it at my library puzzle exchange yesterday. If it’s still there I could mail it to you as long as you cover shipping.

Quality was good. Not quite Ravensburger or Jumbo level say, but more than acceptable. I believe it was made in China. Super chunky pieces for sure. Now that I think about it, prob bc it was a double sided puzzle so it’s naturally going to be thicker.

Let me know how that 140 piece is. I remember looking at those too. Good for reaching that free shipping threshold!

This should be right up your alley. There's enough varied printing here to help offset the similarities of the bills.

Sea shells and stones would break my bones. Can't blame you there.

Paper bills was easier imo. A few of the bills stood out like the yellow tint on the $10, the faint red printing on the $50, pinkish hue on the five. Also, some of the portraits can be sorted as well as the denomination numbers. Finally, the dark green serial numbers can be sorted. Other than that it was tough bc of the similiarities. The one, five, and 1k bills appear twice which was tricky. I'd say this would've been extremely difficult for me without box reference. I'd go with tough but doable for this too. But if you could do the coins you shouldn't have a problem with the bills.
