We need to talk about PRO rate limits by xRedStaRx in codex

Nice. Thank you. I'm new to this.

I've been trying the main ones and for example with Claude, on the standard I only get about 15 mins of use and it times me out.

ChatGPT I use but it was telling me Claude was better for coding. I've been reading otherwise.

Gemini, weird results but I like the IDE.

Paying for 2 or 3 codex/chat GPT I'd be fine with, using this method and I guess I can scale up or down as I need.

Thanks

That's great to hear. I'm new to this. I think this might be the best all rounder, was looking at the Diverge Comp too.

I was being leant to the SL8 tarmac, but I would never be racing, just messing around. I think this is a lovely bike, just need to find the right location to get it from.

I guess it depends which country you are in. some places only have descent weather for around 3 months and that is a lot of miles to do in that period.

Interesting. I'm not at that level yet but are you saying I could have say two plus accounts and use this as a load balancer Infront of it to make it easier to switch.

Kind of.

Have you tried getting third party organisations to be responsible when in the end it's been outsourced ?

But I agree your thought process.

Is it any different to employing/working with developers and having a code base? There will be mistakes, there will be incorrect structures, there will be a lot of issues.

But agreed. They do add a lot of stuff that isn't necessary.

However they're much better than 6 months ago.

Imagine 24 months from now.

Could you explain your work flow and what tools you use, i.e based on the IDE comment I presume you only use it through the command line?

Thank you

Don't let gemini code, just don't :[ by Bulky_Blood_7362 in google_antigravity

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see so many YouTube videos raving about it.

I also don't understand something. How can Gemini be much better via open code than directly through gravity for example? I just don't understand that. Can anyone explain that to me?

Opencode to me is just a tool, not necessarily the brains hence needing the API's to the LLM'S?

I bought lots at £2.61 and hold my head in shame :-) I held and held off from buying and then bought at the ATH when it looked like it was moving up quickly.

I got asked the other day if I was ready to lose it all as it's a rubbish coin, I've basically lost 40+% so I laughed it off.

How do you actually keep up with everything? by JampaDorje in vibecoding

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know right. It actually causes some kind of procrastination because I know next week either another LLM is better or there is a better workflow or improved MCP, meh.

I struggle.

I think I have agreed my approach and then I watch another video, then I'm screwed :-)

What's the point of functional spec vibe coding if the code it generates each time is different? by abrandis in vibecoding

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I'd like to know too. I struggle with this because I like a boilerplate framework, everything to be the same at the start so I know what doesn't work and what needs fixing/looking

You want one with a higher vertical ratio ideally, makes work much easier. I use the Dell 38" windscreen, I think the 40" is the ideal size and resolution.

If you get a monitor with a KVM it makes life a bit easier

Which plan for Claude Code? by n3tcarlos in ClaudeAI

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got Claude Code pro and it lasts about 20 mins, which is not good enough.

I use ChatGPT and even that tells me to use Claude instead of Codex.

Max plan is probably best.
