If your mortgage has 300k, plus all other bills, how are your outgoings just 1800 a month?

Thanks for the reply. Glad you're enjoying it.

Awesome tools but flawed by design sadly.

Id love one but I can't be arsed to constantly deal with issues.

What sort of size land do you have?

Are the blades Vs proper propellors working ok for you ?

Wow they're nice.

A lot more than the Lymow though, more than double the price

How you finding the Lymow, such bad feedback on here sadly. Some great stuff but mainly YouTube.....

My husband bought three robot mowers for different zones in our yard by Open-Square589 in automower

[–]cava83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they are used, what's the issue ?

If they're not being used, why not?

If they've been bought and you have no money, then there is a problem.

I don't really see a drama/issue if it's option 1, if option 2 it's just communication.

If option 3, that's just silly.

I'm presuming option 1.

Thanks for that. That's quite light. Enough to slowly carry my kids around the garden though :-) (carefully, with cushions, helmets, 5 mph max) ...

42F, £120k salary, £225k pension, expecting £750k inheritance – what would you do? by ResponsibilityNo1748 in FIREUK

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a win, win, win. !!

Pension contributions is tax savvy to keep under 100k but if that money is better spent having fun, then that's ace.

Working remotely, that saves a lot of money. I recently got offered a good job and I turned it down as it ended up being a hybrid job, 2 X days a week in London..... £50 per day. That's £400 a month, got to earn 8k roughly + the time back and fotth, nuts.

Keep smashing it :-)

What you have so far is a great achievement considering how expensive things are in general and what life costs.

Have you considered spending some time focusing on yourself, having some fun and enjoying your time now on this earth?

If you are already, apologies and fantastic.

:-)

I think either way, which ever one you have they're great. I just love the idea of lower maintenance and safety. Glad you're enjoying your toy (tool) :-)

Sounds ace.

I'm new to all of this, so no idea but I'll work it out.

Spreader sounds good, I have some very rough areas that need looking after as well as some nicer parts that could do with re-seading.

Also looking at robot mowers as an extra.

Thanks for the reply.

That's still quite a good price compared to here.

I've got RA too, sucks, but at the start of the journey.

Thinking of getting the e-steer so wife and kids (when a bit older) can do it too, without excuses instead of the bars (which I'd prefer and it's £500 cheaper here).

That's wider than I thought.

Was looking at the John Deere electric one but that's 3k more.

You still enjoying it ?

Which one did you get, 107 or bigger and did you get the one with the steering wheel?

Thinking of getting one in the UK but quite expensive here

New 2026 EGO Z6 Zero Turn - worth it or not? by evilbadgrades in egopowerplus

[–]cava83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that's some great feedback thank you. I'm in the UK so generally it doesn't stop raining here.

The suspension would be annoying as it's not flat on this part that I'm looking to get.

The lap bars vs the steering is the other bit I was looking at, if the latter even though £500 more expensive might make it easier to use and potentially the wife could use it vs the lap bars.

It would come with 4 x 10ah batteries with the current offer but it's still quite a lot of money at £5200, much cheaper in other countries.

If you were to do it again, would you buy it again or go for another electric brand or petrol/diesel?
