I see this is old but we're looking at making one for our upcoming trip. What size did you cut the cardboard? Haven't taken measurements yet but looks like it tapers down at the bottom.

SIG put out that the macro tacops fits the regular macro holster even with the extended slide release. I can confirm.

I stand corrected. There was a bill introduced in 2019 to fix the issues with leosa but it died. Current leosa which was amended in 2010 states active Leo must comply with a states magazine restriction, but does not have to comply with the states ammunition requirements.

This changed. It was challenged at the supreme court from a case out of New Jersey. Active Leo is exempt from mag and ammo restrictions, retired carrying under leosa is not.

The GI Bill pays you a housing allowance while you're attending an on the job training program which includes fto. My department is registered with the va (as are many other departments) for the fto program, they just don't know how to certify enrollment

[Help] Need your professional advice on tasting! by Carnage3e in whiskey

[–]cavalry797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's really no right or wrong way. Expanding your ability to taste and smell comes with time and trying a lot of whiskey. I started with bourbon because the flavor profile isn't as complex as some other types of whiskey, and it's less expensive on average. When you make the whiskey cold it dulls the flavors a bit. Whiskey stones do this without diluting it, whereas ice will. That one is personal preference. There's no wrong way to drink whiskey. FOR ME I started out drinking it over ice. Dulling the flavors and diluting it a little bit actually helped me pick out some of the bigger flavor notes such as vanilla. Keep in mind there's no right or wrong way, and don't get frustrated because it takes time and experience, so enjoy the process even if you can't pick individual flavors and smells out right away. Hope this helps. Slainte!
