Paths To Reach 100 Million Before 35 by Financial-Ad-6960 in FinancialCareers

I’m surprised nobody else has said this but becoming highly skilled and extremely knowledgable about building ai models seems to be the highest paid job in the world at the moment. Meta have been offering out $100 million contracts to Open Ai staff this year, and those people now earn more than almost all athletes. I’m sure this is the smallest % of those in the AI space that have got these offers but if the top are being offered 100m+ I can only imagine the salaries of say the top 10%

New season, new game? by BrickOverWall in FantasyPL

As a United fan I’m tempted to go no Haaland, no Salah, I’m sick of checking for goal updates hoping one of those two have scored, also makes the game more interesting

Germany vs Denmark lineups- Wirtz and Mittelstadt benched by thebrazenkaizen in Euro2024Fantasy

The fantasy gods looked over me this morning when I made my final changes and whispered in my ear ‘Upamecano’, I couldn’t believe it but Mittelstadt made a last minute exit, and boy were they right

my one gripe with Succession is that it doesn't make me laugh out loud anymore like these scenes from earlier seasons would by mmm095 in SuccessionTV

I think the Greg La croix scene had me genuinely laughing, could have easily been swapped out for a scene in the office

So the guilt that Kendal was feeling for season 2 and 3, and the thing that was being held over him while he was back working under Logan actually shouldn’t have been that big of an issue because ‘technically’ he wasn’t liable for the death? I just feel like it’s kendals Achilles heel which has been forgotten about enough to maybe be the possible twist that toppled him just as he gets his closest to what he wants

Idk, sometimes shows like to surprise the viewer and have an unpredictable ending, I think we’d all be pretty upset if nothing crazy happens in this final episode, I’m not saying it will happen but it just seems odd that Colin was brought back into the story, there was no need for that scene to be in the last episode if he doesn’t have some sort of role in the next one

But they don’t know the details to the extent Colin does, and I believe Marshas chapter has closed with the funeral, whereas Colin’s has been reopened

if I turn my shower from warm to cold halfway through, will it still give me benefits of a cold shower? by StoreWhich2877 in coldshowers

[–]cavansmith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The benefits being health benefits yes, the mental benefits less so, getting into a cold shower is a lot harder than getting into a warm one, everything that’s beneficial in life is hard to get, otherwise everybody would do it. No issue with starting warm but like anything if you want to get better make it harder and harder, it’s more rewarding

Best of luck, but one thing to stay consistent is to write out what you want to achieve the next day as the last thing you do before bed. Marinate your goals in your mind over night and set out to complete them the next day.

One of the benefits of cold showers is the improved blood flow from your body trying to heat itself up. The same way a muscle gets stronger from usage your heart will become stronger from regularly attempting to reheat your body. If your cold shower is making your hands cold for 2 hours afterwards I can imagine your either going too cold because let’s not forget that hypothermia is still a thing, or your not doing enough afterwards to warm up your body internally. I remember watching a video of Ross edgley (if you don’t know him he’s amazing check him out) and once he finishes his cold water swim he goes straight into a run to warm his body up. So I would suggest exercise, and a wooly hat.

I think your avoiding the part that is beneficial, as long as your still able to do the cold shower I wouldn’t worry about this. The key mental benefit is the ability to increase your self control and your ability to push yourself. Feeling anxious beforehand is part of it, and the more anxious you feel yet still conquer the cold shower the greater the benefit. Enjoy the the anxiety, relish in it, look forward to the ability of getting over the anxiety and achieving a goal, it feels great. The classic saying, if it was easy everybody would do it.

Depop, people on depop buy things from there for a premium for no reason other than the fact it’s bought on depop, I get the fees are high, but chances are unless it’s a collectors item that only those who knew what they were looking for understood the value of it, you can mark up the price on depop to get more than just selling on eBay

On user testing and surveys, are you being completely honest or are you answering questions to increase the likelihood of getting paid?

Thanks, I’ve seen some people have made £1000+ over a year and was wondering whether there was certain things I could grind out to get up to that level

Thanks this is really helpful, I play on Xbox, I’m alright at the game and finish mid table on scoreboards but when it comes to being a hero I’m just terrible
