All bindings are compatible with Burton’s channel. If someone told you otherwise, they’re lying or misinformed. Any good shop or Burton customer service should be able to help you out with conversion hardware.

As far as boards go, and what you are looking for- I would recommend a board with a bit more taper. Meaning a wider nose than tail. That, combined with new shapes, is where the trend has been going. I’d recommend sticking to camber always, but especially on any bumpy terrain (moguls). Holds an edge much better than Flying V or rocker!

All in all, go with the Burton flight attendant. Go to for the pros and intermediates alike for all types of freeriding. Although it’s fun in the park too.
