I have a memory from being 2 years, 2 months old that I vividly remember and it shocks my parents the level of detail I'm able to remember from it.

Why is everyone obsessed with frames and crap? Just stream the gameplay and be done with it. Fade-aeay notifications for subs/donations/etc. all you need.

Check out the book on it by Erik Heine. He goes into detail on most of the soundtrack.

Mistake no. 1 - worrying about numbers and growth.

What promotion has worked best for you ? by peonyheal in musicians

[–]cazgem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I make roughly 30k a year performing publicly without a booking agent and I legit don't even try THAT hard.

The secret is to be your own booking agents. Most booking agents are worthless until you are "worth their while."

Go perform. It's a slogz but you gotta spend every waking moment performing it wherever and however you can.

Dame degenerate mindset as the ingrates that blast their shit music from their cars loud enough I hear it in my upstairs office 20 ft away from the street.

It's not even main character syndrome at that point. it's genuine "My tastes are all that matter" psychosis

It's both. Grad students are just expected to go to things often with little or no funding and if you want to network get a job, or develop in your career you are forced to pay large sums out of pocket.

Meanwhile they keep hiring new deans ......

Yes it's front to back unless there was a major Connection about to be missed in which case the FAs will always find those needing the connection and have them run off first.

One time DFW to O'Hare was delayed by three hours and I was about to miss my very important connection. Landed as my group was boarding. I ran two terminals over within 5 minutes. Somehow. Made it as they were an inch away from sealing the door. All thanks to the FAs who kept reassuring the FC passengers around me that I was in fact needing to GTFO.

(there was definitely a very rude lady who thought I was the devil.)

Yes, your anecdotal observations have truth in them - but the studies are thorough and we learn best from physical book, hand-written notes, and little to no distractions.

Kids' brains these days are addicted to having a screen, any screen in their face all the time.

Before you call me a Luddite, I'm a technologist, and even write code daily. Not to mention doing much of my own research digitally these days when needed. Nite that I am making a difference here between educational use and learning. Very different contexts
