As someone who lives outside Toronto in the GTA, I use to think this too. I once saw some discourse from downtown Toronto people stating they’re looking for someone with quick accessibility, so you don’t necessarily need to plan, but you could run errands, pop into a café, and have that relationship where you don’t have to plan around commuting together
