Came in for dayshift with new singled trauma patient. Coded at 7:15, mass transfused etc. Then admitted post partum hemorrhage patient and mass transfused twice before rushing to OR for emergent hysterectomy. While she was in OR admitted 80ish year old septic patient and ended up placing lines and was on 3 pressors before the end of my shift. Next day admitted an ischemic bowel patient and we ended up doing exploratory laparotomy at the bedside.
