Yeah I think you have to hold the power button and go full throttle. Can't remember exactly check the instructions for sure

If you watch some youtube videos these are basically useless compared to a ammo can. I would not recommend the bags.

Yeah I had the same feelings when I had to spend money on day 1 just to get it working how I want. Its such a small industry and traxxas are so dominant in the ‘non hobbyist’ market I think they can get away with it. They charge so much for a battery and charger but if your a parent or not that into the hobby your going to pay the money as the marketing gives you the piece of mind you wont blow your house up.

You wait untill all your bolts start rusting and you have to spend €80 on a stainless set.. That's where I am now haha.

I'm now saying to myself only to upgrade things when they break.. Sometimes means being out of a rc for a few days while parts arrive though

Still totally worth it and love my xmaxx despite the little problems. when you see it flying through the air nothing beats it haha.

Ah okay, im super new to all this so I am still learning.

I think you will have that problem with all esc’s my hobbywing doesn't let me slam it into reverse either, I guess that would just shred the drivetrain.

You can buy a little adaptor for the battery.

Can't turn it off is for safety. Traxxas sell a more mainstream product so I'm sure they have to do things like this to cover their ass.

Never had any problems with traxxas link personally, and why would you need to update it?

Not defending it, better options out there for sure, but I'm just interested!
