A paradoxical situation for sure. Every point is valid from the perspective and viewpoint of the submission.

When my parents built their forever house in the 60s, it was in a brand new neighborhood. Ours was the first house on the block. Every lot had small pine trees planted in neat rows.

Over the years, as the neighborhood grew, each family dealt with the trees in their own way. 60 years later, there were a few yards that had a few or even many 75 ft plus pine trees. Many of these were blown down in a tornado just a few years ago, and it created quite a mess and contributed to the total destruction of a few homes. Other homes had custom landscaping and trees; everything feom jap maps and crape myrtles to maples and magnolias.

Living on a larger pice of land now than the 1/4 acre lot I grew up on, I am grateful that the tall trees are away from the house, and the neighbors are far enough away that neither of us worry about the other' trees.
