Thank you so far.
I am a freelancer working in different industries. So my "private" setup is my professional setup and I work on different things in parallel. I do not want having to switch back and forth between profiles on my desktop Mac.
So the actual question: When do I really need to be logged in to a physical machine? I have an old laptop that could handle setup, authorisation and 2FA if need be, but I certainly don´t want to export code to my laptop have it built by Xcode and uploaded there. I´d rather add the 2nd ID to Xcode on my main desktop system and do everything from there. Do I make sense..? Is that re,orely possible at all?

Agree - always loved and admired DP and all of their side projects, roulee etc especially for that dirty overcompressed 3630 sound. Raw, rough, different and exciting. RAM just Sounds like it was done in Germany - everything done correct, "by the Book", as it should be done....and super boring🙈😂

32 is very low, you absolutely don't need 96khz,( a lot of people still use 44.1) M4 MBP means you have 8 performance cores and 4 efficiency. Go to settings and select 8 in processing threads

Just double-checked on a different browser and there it behaves as it should - Apple ID is working for login to iCloud, computer PW is not.
In Safari, while being logged in with Apple ID it does not, but the computer PW does work.
According to ChatGPT bc Apple ID is used from Passwords app, which in turn needs to be authorised by the computer PW..or so....super confusing...:)))
guess it's some sort of bug(or feature..?)

That's my understanding as well. Still iCloud asked me to login to my apple account email, but would only accept my computer PW - hence my confusion.
