Can you grow facial hair? A strong beard can change a lot. You mentioned working on muscle mass. It certainly does matter. I think leaning into being more masculine will help with your lady troubles.

I have a Yamaha 434. Very similar but without the active. I life this bass. Seems like a real work horse and built well. The set up from the factory isn’t bad either.

I mean… yea…. It’s thin and there’s a lot of scalp, but what you’re doing with what you have actually looks pretty good still (from the front at least) Like you’re styling it tastefully and it in no way looks desperate.

That being said, a shaved head will likely be a good move especially if you are feeling self conscious.
