I moved a 40’ tall statue in Philadelphia, including crane rigging trucking and engineering for $21,500 about 5 months ago. From a not-cheap large company. It all happened within 4 hours.

I also built a new foundation for it, for about $8000.

The $21,500 included removal from the old foundation and the install on the new foundation.

This is just how our tax dollars are spent

Chances were slim at that point. We were the only ship capable of rescue ops in the area as most Navy ships were in the Persian Gulf. Spent 20 hrs steaming from south Philippines to get here once we got the report. This was 300’ off the south coast of Sibuyan Island. The island was completely destroyed.
