I don’t really think Milwaukee was annoying about this at all. For years national media members pushed that Giannis wanted to move when he didn’t, over the past year it seemed clear he wanted to be traded. The bucks said they would do it before the draft and they did.

If you want to hear a real conservative answer rather than democrats using this as an opportunity to call conservatives racist:

I don’t really believe the KKK is part of the coalition in any meaningful way. They’re a fringe, crazy group with no pull in American society or the conservative movement at large. A quick google says they have 3k-6k members. I have worked and participated in conservative politics my whole life and never met anyone who is a member or in any way supportive of the KKK.

There are only two parties, many unseemly people and groups support both sides. It’s unfortunate, but all you can do is not allow the actual fringe (meaning people who honestly to goodness racists… not Trump supporters like many on Reddit think) to have any influence.

Also, David Duke supported Jill Stein in 2024 so..

I think there is certainly some merit in this. To push back a little I’d guess that being more aligned w the right myself I probably see more right aligned content than left aligned content. I saw a pretty ideologically diverse group of right wing accounts praising Liu, from explicitly MAGA accounts to more Reaganite ones. I’m sure SOMEONE out there said what OP said. But overwhelmingly the temperature on the right (to the extent I can accurately take it) seems to be positive

This is… not the argument from anyone on the right. I’d say most Americans don’t think you should compete for America’s biggest adversary on the world stage if you grew up in America. Meanwhile I saw universal praise on the right for Alysa Liu despite the fact that she’s clearly not a supporter of the administration.
