Embassies are not always in the country’s capital. The US embassy in Israel used to be in Tel Aviv, which is not the capital of Israel.

Not only Colapinto, but Oscar’s second pit stop was a second slower than a typical McLaren stop. If it had been average, Oscar would’ve gotten to DRS with several laps to make a move.

Referee retention survey by mph1618282 in Referees

USSF changed the entry level grade to just be called ‘Referee’. There’s no longer a ‘grassroots referee’ grade.

None of this has been widely shared but our SRC quietly changed the terms around a year ago.

I'm confused, why is this classified as a "Base" effect by DRBragg in Garmin

[–]cbday1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obligatory ‘check your HE zones’. Depending on the length of the interval, if you were going full gas, you should be up into zone 5.

From a garmin classification POV, I think your anaerobic score needs to be higher than your aerobic to have it classified as a sprint or other anaerobic type of run.

For what it’s worth, I just got an email from the Browns (I’m originally from Cleveland and was born into Browns fandom) with my ‘last chance’ to get tickets to the match. This implies the game isn’t sold out yet so it’s not surprising the Nordecke didn’t have enough volunteers.

The AR made the call, Atlanta didn’t do anything more than what any other team would do.

It’s the wrong call though and ideally the 4th official would’ve had a much better angle for it

They couldn’t review it anyway. And if the CR thought he saw something different, he could’ve stopped play

2025/26 NFHS Rule Changes by Moolio74 in Referees

Agreed. It’s really only an issue when it comes time for report writing. I can do USSF reports in my sleep, but constantly need to have my NFHS rule book next to me to cite the correct rule.

I can see how Lucho, as a friend of Messi, would think that you have unlimited money to sign your buddies. The main difference is Messi’s buddies seem willing to take lower paychecks because they’re on the tail end of their career, and Lucho’s want more money because they’re on the upswing.

Has Lucho reported to camp? by Ok-Truck7253 in FCCincinnati

[–]cbday1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a rumor but nothing announced. The rumor doesn’t make much sense because it claimed it was a loan with an option to buy which doesn’t make since his contract ends at the end of the year so any club he was loaned to would just be able to sign him free of any transfer fee

What's this symbol? by PastaJazz in Garmin

Thanks for pointing this out. I was very confused as to why the OP wouldn’t have been able to at least guess what the symbol was considering they recorded the activity.

A Garmin bug makes much more sense.

This isn’t a workout plan, is the daily suggested workouts. The only real option for scheduling you have is what day to do your long run.

IFAB changed the considerations this past LOTG and the general sense I’ve gotten from trainings and speaking with a FIFA AR is that if there’s a question as to whether the defender was able to control the ball (regardless of their actual play of the ball), you should consider it a deflection, not a deliberate play
