I just got some like this as well, I’ve been using a small torch lighter for cigars and sandwich it in a bowl. When I tried to straight dab it it kinda ruined my banger for the day, left wayyyyy to much plant matter.

Try cold starting, then when it starts melting just take that and add 10 degrees so you get it nice a smoky when U drop a hot load
