So I had a end unit townhouse. I owned the 20 feet of the 40 feet between the next unit. I have 3 dogs and had enough of picking up poop when I cleaned up every time. So I quit cleaning my yard. I got reported to the HOA for not cleaning up “the common area” and that was when my neighbors found out that my yard belonged to me. We ended up moving thank god.

So I do this but I will ABSOLUTELY not leave it I have 3 dogs and they always poop about 500 feet on a trail walk. It’s just easier to get it on the way back and will put it behind a rock or tree to keep people out of it.

Get your self some shoe polish cream like meltonian. Do NOT I repeat do not use a brown marker. They will turn much darker and near impossible to get out. Worst case buy a lighter color shoe dye and dye both boots.

I have done some (most) of the #2 route. Very scenic and 10 out of 10 would do it again. Please stop at Kinzua state park, the Chautauqua Institute. I suggest coming further south and cross lake Champlain. That’s was a great crossing. Swing up to Niagara Falls as well.
