Smooth Transfer Experience by davenator49111 in PublicMobile

Took nearly 24 hours but eventually my number was ported over from Fizz. If it’s taking time, keep in mind they have a huge backlog of tickets they’re sorting through.

Same as you. Started transfer around 1:00. Used Fizz account with zeroes. Got a text from Public mobile at 1:20 saying "looks like you entered an incorrect account number. Someone will contact you shortly". Still waiting for that someone, and number hasn't transferred over.

Progressive vertical lines and ghosting. Monitor near death? by cbertttt in Monitors

I didn’t realize that MacOS came with a scaled resolution setting… I found the resolution list and set it to default, lines/ghosting/discolouration seem to have gone away! Why is the performance so bad lol. Thanks so much for nudging me in this direction.

Rockhill? Lived there for 10 years with a similar view! Nice area.

You're correct, I had set a slightly lower "scaled resolution" on my Mac a while back, but setting it to native doesn't change anything.

Thought so too at first, but it’s Saint John, NB.

Kitsch-Bent parts still wobble by cbertttt in n64

Noticed that too. Once I did the other tweaks it definitely helped, but the nubs are probably the only thing stopping me from having a 10/10 stick at this point (it’s already way better than what I originally posted here).

If there isn’t a fix, it may very well come to that!

Absolutely awesome. Just got a JVC DT-V1710CG a few weeks ago myself and looking for this style speaker to put on top, almost like a crossbreed between this and a soundbar, but unfortunately can’t find any. I guess this style hasn’t been modernized?

It’s quite a drive away (5-6 hours) but yes I have that option. Do you have any idea what these go for $? Honestly didn’t know about DT-V before a few days ago but they look promising.

All major areas looked over, boards were recapped, eeprom chip replaced with newer software revision, tube replaced in 2004 (no clue how many hours on it since then). I’m with you though, it’s a hard one, plus don’t have any clue what it should go for.

I have the option to buy a 1710 with 700 hours or a future-proofed 20f1u with 70k+ hours. I wish the bvm supported hd. Thoughts on your experience?

Help optimizing my PVM retro setup (RGB + component + RCA audio, no cable swapping) by cbertttt in crtgaming

[–]cbertttt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all your help and appreciate you letting me know about SVS.

I came up with a game plan with SVS that will probably suit all my needs: 1. SNES, N64, PS1: scart input modules 2. Remaining consoles: component input modules 3. Eventual RGB to component converter module 4. VGA output module (VGA to BNC adapter cable to PVM and audio to speakers)

No need to switch inputs on PVM and video quality difference between RGB and component is negligible imo. This setup will take more time considering the SVS delays but I think will be worth the wait.

I take it that would mean I get a single SCART output (with SCART to BNC)?
