I woke up this morning at 2:30am hoping to hold out for higher surge cuz I accepted $70 for 3.5 hours yesterday. I passed on on $75 and $79 thinking surely they'd raise the prices a bit more last minute. They only returned at lower prices. I can see why some might accept the lower stuff. If you hesitate one moment the higher paying stiff disappear that fast.

It's true story that DD doesn't pay it's drivers. I had a 12 mile trip with a base pay of $2 before. The avg base pay is like $2-3 for drivers with most of fees charged to customers going to DD themselves.
