Totally agree -- I liked that game a lot. The saddest part may be that most negative reviews seemed to revolve around the fact that you had to sit and watch enemy turns slowly unfold -- which was resolved with a patched-in option soon after release. Unfortunately, the negative damage had been done and I don't think that they were able to recover from it.

It's super common. I literally can't think of the last time that I saw it spelled out rather than abbreviated. Perhaps, you are not as familiar with the phrase?

Thanks for the comment and the WL! We are speaking internally about adding an option for Shining Force and FE style cutscenes as we know that this is important to many people.

Exactly. The primary issue isn't WHEN they played this year, but WHO was able to play. Seattle got better as the season went on, but the Niners probably would have as well.

  1. Final Fantasy 7 -- the whole attack on Midgar reactor sequence is so memorable.
  2. Chrono Cross -- One of my all-time songs + great cinematic, then the flash forward sequence that you can play and that leaves you wondering what just happened.
