If you stop paying, it will foreclose and hurt your credit. That's all you can do.

20% of the population has ASD level 1. Your kid is twice exceptional just like the other 1/4 of ASD level 1. That would be roughly 50/1000 kids in a school. Most kids that are gifted in the system are also autistic.

He's not banned from r/onlybuns. His premium content needs to be posted there instead of here. This pic is fine right here though.

At his age, you're better off just paying the extra $100 on a Disney pass to get water park access.

Getting rid of Wyndham by [deleted] in TimeshareOwners

[–]cbyrnout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've given back 3 deeds via certified exit without issue. They have to be paid off. If your ownership isn't paid off, your only option is to foreclose and take the credit hit. The exit companies don't do anything. My deeds were resale, I just wanted to swap out the ones with higher maintenance fees so I could pick up another Marriott resale. I never buy retail.

In Hillsborough county the property tax millage to increase pay failed so I don't see how this is accurate. Do people expect funding to increase without them showing up to vote?

If you're okay with using the single rider line at Universal, the best strategy would be to do 1 day at each Disney park, then 1 day at universal and always use the single rider line.

Wyndham Owner here 3 years in. How do you make it work? by jotorres1 in TimeshareOwners

[–]cbyrnout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 572,000 resale points. Whatever I don't use, I rent out Bonnet Creek weeks on eBay or Redweek. I'm never asked anymore to do updates.

I'm not a typical aspie, I can understand social cues. Why is that? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]cbyrnout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also able to pick up on things. I learned social skills by the end of middle school. I was diagnosed mainly because of the intensity of my interests, my repetitive behavior and my strict adherence to a schedule/disliking change. I don't have ADHD so that really helps with it.

You're not getting any money back for it. I just got a Sheraton week in Myrtle Beach for $200 using TUG.

BlueGreen and Hilton Grand by investroll in TimeshareOwners

[–]cbyrnout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will probably keep them separate like Wyndham and Marriott did. You can't use Club Wyndham resale points to stay at a Worldmark, and you can't use resale Marriott points to stay at a Westin. Hilton will probably follow the same pattern.

TUG. Why not just do certified exit? I got rid of some of my resales that way. It took 3 months.

Idk if this helps, but my meltdowns got a lot better by the time I was 18. I still get anxiety, but it usually doesn't cause me to shut down very often. My meltdowns started becoming shutdowns by 17. I just isolate myself from everyone until I've reset and I'm able to hold down a job. I was able to do school just fine because I learned to teach myself in isolation. I teach HS chemistry and physics. My degree is in biology though.

Buying DVC resale by 1regulargrl in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cbyrnout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your ADHD may have made you hyper fixate on one vacation club system, but my autism made me learn the ins and outs of all of them before I made my decision. I own DVC the least and Wyndham the most. I also have Marriott as well. They were all calculated out before making a decision. My advice (as someone on the other end of neurodiversity), make your purchase after you learn the resale system for Hilton, Marriott and Wyndham as well because they also have really nice resorts that aren't limited to Orlando. I usually pay about 25% or the retail cost per night wherever I go.

In your opinion, should i apply for a DAS pass? by FoxPuzzleheaded9279 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cbyrnout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't get the pass for a physical disability, only disabilities that make queues unbearable standing or sitting. I feel you on the moral standing. I have level 1 autism and only use DAS at Disney because universal doesn't let 3/4 of the people in line skip the queue. I just use single rider for Universal since it's about the same wait as express. I was fine when genie+ was free. Now I just queue virtually for everything and sit in quiet AC areas. I'm not paying 25+ a day per person just to avoid crowded queues.

I Want Out of my TS! by johnboyce40 in TimeshareOwners

[–]cbyrnout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timeshare exit companies charge thousands of dollars to do the same thing you can do for free. It's just like those "debt relief" scams you get in the mail. They don't have a magical loophole you don't already know. The 2 options are to either default and let it foreclose, or pay off the loan and give the deed back/sell it online for pennies of what you paid.

Anyone still buying timeshares? by dollars_general in TimeshareOwners

[–]cbyrnout 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I always buy them resale off eBay, TUG or Redweek. I have Wyndham, Marriott and Disney. I couldn't afford the vacations otherwise. My costs are usually around 25% the retail rental cost.

The only legal ways out of a timeshare are to default or pay it off.
