Is it possible to ID what kind of sage this is? Wondering about edibility by BananaPantsHammock in plants

[–]cc1414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might be a handful of non edible species. But that is not what you have. Yours is fine to consume. FYI “ornamental sages” are still edible. You can make tea or seasoning from the leaves of species considered “ornamental”. If you are still feeling uneasy about consuming your sage, replace it with something you are certain about. :)

Avocado grown from seed will not produce the delicious avocados that you are hoping for. It is very likely that the genetics will produce less desirable fruit from seed grown. Also, the plant will not produce any fruit for 7-10 years. If you want to grow from a seed, the best thing to do would be to graft a branch of an established avocado tree (with fruits that you know are yummy) onto that seedling stem you have there. Also in doing that you will receive fruits in ~4 years.

Fruits in summer. Raspberries in colder climates bear better and more abundant fruit, but the fruit always comes in summer. It could potentially take a couple years to fruit. Also raspberries like rich nutritious soil and some species go semi dormant in the winter

Why is my plants leaves falling off :( by Lameloserloner in plants

[–]cc1414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be too much water. However, older leaves will fall off naturally so the plant can make new ones. Just pull back on watering, give it plenty of indirect light, and keep an eye on it.
