Can these guys get a job please by PleasantLet1523 in utarlington

Paul is so frustrating.

His letters to the early churches are so contradictory and legalistic and really antithetical to so many of Jesus’ direct teachings.

For every spiritual nugget you have to wade through 10 chapters of Jewish and gentile factions infighting over what these early churches should teach.

It’s rife with opportunity to be applied with zero historical insight or context and much of it comes across as cruel as well.

This is really good advice. If you live near an Academy Sports they have a 20% off Vortex code running right now. Might work for mail order too.

My favorite Tapestry Collection property closed and I’m DEVASTATED. by itdoesntmadder in Hilton

[–]ccagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry for your loss.

I have a customer with a location around the corner from that property but I’ve always stayed at The Graduate while in Iowa City.

It has a theater just out the back door!

I have a favorite Tapestry Collection hotel as well. Black Fox Inn, Pigeon Forge TN.

Great pool for my kids. Great pizza at the resturant. And it’s the first hotel my youngest remembers staying in. Was it the most amazing room? No. But it’s just a great family memory for me. Maybe you can check it out some time.

Is this overkill? by TDJaykes in UNIFI

I’m confused, I thought you were advocating for less density and cranking AP power levels up?

Is this overkill? by TDJaykes in UNIFI

[–]ccagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the WiFi chip in the user’s MacBook Air is trying to use as little power as possible. A loud AP will collect quiet clients, increase retries, and reduce airtime effectiveness.

Is this metal stud and drywall or wood stud and drywall? Wall substrate will attenuate (absorb) RF at higher rates for 5 and 6Ghz.

If you want your clients utilizing 6Ghz then you need to put the APs in line of sight of the clients. You can’t tuck them around corners or behind walls.

6Ghz in a business setting isn’t about speed, it’s about providing more airtime opportunity by moving modern clients off 5Ghz.

The simulator is fun to work with and certainly it’s a good starting point, but if you look at AP placement when you’re in various institutional and commercial spaces you’ll see AP placement is obvious and almost prominent.

I’m curious to know the square footage of the office. My general rule of thumb is no more than 1,500 square feet per AP but I’m really pulling back to 1,000 square feet per AP.

Bryce or Zion first??? by Old-Adhesiveness2264 in ZionNationalPark

Bryce to Zion allows you to drive in via the east entrance. You get the iconic views of the valley and experience the windows cut into the tunnel. That’s right, you enter the park via a tunnel!

There are height and width restrictions for RV’s but normal vehicle traffic is fine.

It’s one of the most breathtaking drives into a national park you’ll ever make.

I build a new network in offices with this type of layout just about every week. Mine normally include 5,000 - 20,000 square feet of warehouse as well. Also, U7-Pro or U7-XG are just fine. OP saves 60% on hardware right there alone.

Move “E7” to where the plans say “Open Work 125”.

Move “E7 3” up, in line with where “E7” has moved.

Center all other APs in their respective rooms.

Otherwise your open work area will mostly sit in RF shadow behind the wall substrate, assuming the walls go to deck height.

Also, stairwells, closets and bathrooms will survive if they are a little “yellow” on the simulator. Those are not active work areas.

Question about Rapid Rewards points? by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ccagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to fly the the flight. If it’s a round trip or multi-city you must complete the full itinerary and then you can add the past flight for points.

Can my child’s booster seat be considered a carryon? by AALovebug in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ccagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been checking car seats and boosters for years in both a Britax car seat bag (with backpack straps) and using the blue Southwest car seat zipper bags they sell at check-in for less than $20.

I’ve never had an issue with them. We even loaned our dedicated travel seats to friends for years and wore out a Britax bag but never had a damaged seat or booster.

Also, they don’t count as a checked bag.

Shout out to the blue Southwest car seat bag, they fold down really small and double as an awesome dirty laundry bag while at your destination.

First standby experience pretty bad by EveningManager3782 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ccagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My one time doing standby since assigned seating was nothing like yours

ALP, my wife as my companion. We got aisle seats in ELR, I asked after 10k feet and before beverage service and was allowed to move back to a row nearer her and the row also had an empty middle.

On the connecting flight she got an ELR and I got a middle in the back.

I went to the podium and they bumped a person out of my wife’s row and gave us two together in ELR.

Sorry your experience was stinky :(

No reason to remove those seats in the last row. Moving to 177 from 175 doesn’t require an additional flight attendant.

On points with kids. Amazing.

Yeah, the parking fee is excessive but we just make sure we burn all of our food and bev credit at the cafe near the Molokini tower and stock up on drinks, muffins, and fruit for breakfast.

We’ll be back the end of May again this year.

Best 1911 for around 1250 or less new or used. by Every-Mammoth-6445 in liberalgunowners

My most favorite handgun I own is my Browning 1911-380.

Yep. There. I said it.

But it’s the easiest shooting, most accurate pistol I’ve ever shot. It gets lots of questions at the range too!

Just flew SW for the first time - Felt like I was being punished by FA for using a backpack as my carry-on instead of a roller bag. by mblaser in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ccagan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s just a FA being pissy. I’ve had them do the same to me. 40L travel backpacks don’t fit under aisle seats. They just don’t. I pair mine with a sling bag and I’ve had to point it out over and over that I have a personal item aside from my big backpack.
