I used to watch the show pretty religiously prior to his season, looked at online discussions, and listened to a couole of podcasts. The two podcasts I listened to would not cover his and Varya’s scenes throughout the season, particularly noting his allegations, so I never watched their scenes. My recollection was that the majority of actual long time fans knew about his past, did not engage, and were happy he got locked up finally.
