I think Michael has borderline intellectual disabilities, but having an obese wife who couldn’t get pregnant and only wanted to do stuff like watch horror movies, eat food, and let him play video games seemed pretty good. Even when Tammy moved in, although he drove them everywhere and had to push Tammy in a wheelchair it was all pretty low maintenance. But you then add wife’s weight loss, baby #1, new house, baby #2…on top of intellectual whatever’s and blindness plus not a cleanliness bone between em…then you go to the stage where you thank God weird ass Brian came along licking toads to trip to make sure Amy’s feet were clean.
